Welcome to the 2026 First Tee Miami Doral Junior Classic, taking place December 20–23, 2026, at the iconic Trump National Doral Miami. We are excited to welcome an outstanding field of junior golfers and their families for what promises to be a memorable week of competition, sportsmanship, and championship golf.
This year’s Junior Classic will feature a limited field due to extensive renovations taking place throughout the Trump National Doral facilities. These improvements are being completed in preparation for Doral’s upcoming golf season and the PGA TOUR Cadillac Championship. While the renovations require us to limit the size of this year’s field, they also provide our participants with a unique opportunity to compete at one of golf’s most celebrated destinations during an exciting new chapter in its history.
Because of the limited number of spots available, all tournament entries will be reviewed prior to acceptance into the championship field. Submission of an entry does not guarantee acceptance into the tournament. Our Tournament Committee will carefully review all entries with the goal of assembling a competitive and deserving field of junior golfers across all age divisions. The official list of accepted players is expected to be announced by mid-October. We appreciate the patience and understanding of all applicants and families as we complete the selection process.
Players in the 13-and-under age divisions will play their practice round and all tournament competition on the Red Tiger Course. Players in the 14-and-over age divisions will also play their practice round and the first two rounds of competition on the Red Tiger Course.
Practice Round Information: The practice round on December 20 is included with the tournament entry fee and will be played on the Red Tiger Course. Players in the 14-and-over age divisions who wish to play a practice round on the Blue Monster must make their own arrangements directly with Trump National Doral. A Blue Monster practice round is not included with the tournament entry fee.
Performance Standard Score Requirements: For all players in the 14-and-over age divisions, a performance standard score requirement will be applied following the first round of competition. Any player who records a score over 90 in the first round will not advance to the second round.
For the 14-and-over age divisions, a cut will be made following 36 holes of competition. Only players who advance through the cut will compete in the final round on December 23 on the Blue Monster. The final-round field will consist of 32 players in Boys 16–18, 24 players in Girls 16–18, 24 players in Boys 14–15, and 16 players in Girls 14–15.
For those who advance, the opportunity to conclude the championship on the Blue Monster will make this year’s event particularly special. Just a few months later, the same course will welcome the world’s best players for the PGA TOUR Cadillac Championship in March 2027, giving our finalists the opportunity to test their games on a true championship venue.

We are proud to continue the tradition of the Doral Junior Classic and provide young golfers with an experience that challenges their games, builds lasting friendships, and creates memories that extend well beyond the final round.
Since 1981, formerly known as the Doral Publix Junior Golf Classic, the First Tee - Doral Jr. Classic has hosted thousands of competitive junior golfers from across the globe in the city of Doral. The experience consists of competitive rounds of championship play, the Adamonis Cup — a one-day match play tournament featuring top players from Florida squaring off against top players from the Northeast, as well as trophy ceremonies after the championship final rounds. The final winners in the 16-18 age category will have the privilege of having their name etched on the trophy accompanying all previous winners!
Moreover, for the 14 & over divisions, this tournaments is one of the largest in college recruiting, with historically over 100 college coaches in attendance annualy. It is a great benefit for the players to qualify and earn respectable points for other tournaments as well.
This amazing event benefits First Tee Miami, a part of the Dade Amateur Golf Association, Inc., a not-for-profit organization that has transformed itself since 1968 into one of the most respected golf organizations in the country serving those of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, both physical and mental. Under the leadership and legacy of the late Charles De Lucca, Jr., First Tee Miami's mission is to impact lives by providing programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices, while utilizing the game of golf.
Hotel Accommodations: Once a player has been officially accepted into the 2026 First Tee Miami Doral Junior Classic, additional information regarding hotel accommodations will be provided. Accepted players and their families will receive instructions on how to book their accommodations directly with Trump National Doral Miami, including tournament-specific booking information and available room options. We kindly ask applicants to wait until they receive their official acceptance and tournament hotel information before making arrangements through the event.
